The Compound was one of many groups to showcase their musical genuis at the 2005 Rock Around The Clock festival held
in downtown Winnsboro. The Compound were without The Messenger, but the show went on as planned.
Among the list of songs the group performed were "Hardcore Christians", "I Worship", "Do U Believe
in Chirst" and "Jehovah Coming".
Sept. 24 --- Kids Day
The Compound was the featured group at the Kids Day talent show held at Green Hill Baptist Church on Sept. 24.
The group performed four songs including the bass banger "I Worship". The congregation was brought to their
feets during the song "Dance Like David" and many was still on their feet for the "Hardcore Christians"
song.
After The Compound's performance, The Truth gave the congregation a few encouraging words which started a Holy Ghost filled
closing.

Local Gospel Group, ‘The Compound’ featured on CD.
Local gospel hip-hop
group, The Compound is featured on the CD ‘Johnny B Good’ released Wednesday September 7th. Johnny B Good
is the second album to hit the mainstream from gospel rap artist J.Juice. Juice writes and produces his own music and is the
CEO of Juicy Records The CD includes three bonus tracks by The Compound and an interview entitled ‘Conversation
with The Compound’. The Compound consists of four individuals, Matthew Lyles (FOCUZ), Vernard Hall (THE MESSENGER),
James Seibles (QUIET STORM) and Brandon McGoogan (KNOWLEDGE), each of Winnsboro. The group is also featured in J. Juice’s
first video off of the album entitled ‘Shifting Gears’. The Compound’s debut album is currently in production
and should be available by mid-December or early January. Both J. Juice and The Compound are availiable to perform for
